It's hard to define Black Lotus. Black Lotus is more than just a compound of luxury villas. We strive to create a lifestyle and a unity among our residents. The luxury features within the Black Lotus concept ensures a maximum level of leisure and relaxation at a price never before seen for a resort of this high standard. When it comes down to it, Black Lotus in Hua Hin is the ultimate investment in every aspect and the only thing you need to worry about is how to relax and enjoy your holiday as everything is taken care of for you.
It has been a very important factor for us to create a quality resort where our customers are 100% safe and content throughout the entire process and where the price is kept at a level where everyone can have their dream fulfilled and have their very own luxury villa in the land of smiles.
Our concept is very unique as we can offer our customer's a part ownership of a luxury villa where they can enjoy their stay in Thailand without worries or hassles. As we understand our customers needs, especially in the economic downturn, we have created a concept that removes all the complications you could possibly imagine when owning property in a foreign country.
We love good wine, golf, massage - good friends, good food, wire internet, maid services and the option to order a fantastic dinner and enjoy it in the comfort of our own home; a life without problems and complications. So with that in mind it has been quite natural for us to include all these things in the Black Lotus resort. Something you would also come to love and enjoy as a part owner of your very own private pool villa in Black Lotus.
The Villas
We do not build low budget houses; we build high quality homes where we enjoy our lives and where nothing is left to chance. Our villas are equipped with 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms, a large and comfortable living room with an attached open kitchen with high quality kitchen furniture in a modern design. In each bedroom you will find a beautiful bathroom with an attached walk-in closet. The centerpiece i all our 2 and 3 bedroom villas is the giant pool that makes up 40sqm (4x10m).
All villas come fully decorated and include a large flat-screen TV with a surround sound set.
Black Lotus will, when entirely completed, consist of 40-50 villas in different sizes. The last of the villas are set for completion in 2012. The first villas are already completed and are selling out fast.
This is how it works
Every villa is made up of 52 shares equivalent to the 52 weeks in a year. Of these 52 weeks 48 is for sale. The remaining 4 weeks are reserved for maintenance. We want to make sure that the villa stays in mint condition all year round. There is a minimum purchase of 2 shares which is why there can be a max of 24 owners per villa. Which weeks you choose to buy is totally up to you and after your purchase these weeks are yours to utilize year after year for the rest of your life. You can also sell the weeks/shares or pass them on to loved ones after you die. It's your shares and you can do with them as you please. We do not sell full-year villas but a holiday in your own home for a fraction of the normal price. We will make sure that your villa is ready for your arrival each and every time. Your home because YOU own it!
When you buy a share in a Black Lotus villa you become an invester, owner and a tourist at one and the same time. You will become part of a community made up of other life enjoyers dwelling in the Black Lotus resort. The share you buy is your for life just as if you would buy a stock/share in the bank.
The experience starts from home where you log on to our online portal and notify us of your arrival. At this point you will have the option to order transportation from the airport and you can also order refilling of your fridge with drinks and snacks. Our service team makes sure that your private belongings (such as books, cd's ect.) are in place for your arrival.

Please note: All facilities will start opening by January 2012
All bills paid
That's right. All bills paid. Our unique concept means that you don't have to pay any bills - at all! You don't need to keep an eye on the electric and you don't need to check if you paid the Internet bill or make sure that you remember to put it on standby when you leave. All household bills are included in the yearly fee (S$ 195).

The above are typical expenses that comes with a house an apartment - but not in Black Lotus. We make sure that all practicalities are taken care of for you. Less time dealing with problems means more time to enjoy your holiday.
Location, Location, Location
Black Lotus resides in the royal city of Hua Hin in Thailand; the charming city where His Majesty, King Bhumiphol has his summer palace. The royal presence in Hua Hin makes it one of the safest places to live in Thailand and at the same time gives the city a magic atmosphere of traditional and charming Thailand.
Black Lotus is located roughly around 5km from the centre of the city in undisturbed and beautiful natural surroundings close to majestic mountains but still close enough to see the ocean in the horizon.

Even priceless has a price
The price for a luxury villa in Black Lotus depends of the number of shares you want to buy and also the time of year. The popular seasons where most people leave for holiday is a bit more expensive than the periods where Hua Hin has its quiet times.
There's absolutely no difference in quality or service on the different periods and the price starts at Euro 67/month for 1 week in a 1 bedroom villa if you choose to finance with us with a 10% down payment and interest free in 36 installments.
Security and transparency is our biggest selling point
It's not always easy to understand and comprehend ownership details, terms of use, contracts and running costs regarding home purchase in a foreign country. Our ambition has, and is, to create full transparency in the entire process from start to end. You will not find any hidden paragraphs or clauses written in tiny text on our contracts. Everything is fully transparent and easy to understand.
It has been a very important criterion for us to create a safe and worry-free concept where just about all practical issues are handled by us so the only thing you need to worry about is how to make the most of your stay in Black Lotus.
Black Lotus as a profit giving investment
After your purchase of shares in a Black Lotus pool villa it's up to you how you want to use them. If you do not have the option to utilize the villa each and every year, you have the full option to sell your shares for a higher price than you initially bought them for or you can rent out these weeks for a yearly profit. The rental price is not something we have a say in but via our online system you have the option to put your weeks up for rent. In this system you will also find suggestions for recommended rental/sale prices. This system is available to you after purchase.
Keep in mind that the prices for real estate in Thailand goes up each and every year which is why it's safe to say that an investment in Black Lotus is a safe and wise choice.

Black Lotus is developed by Danish IT entrepreneur Lars Castenlund. Mr. Castenlund is also residing in the Black Lotus resort on a permanent basis.
